ZE:A's MTV Artist of the Month July!

Okay the randomest choice in the world don't you think? I was pretty stunned myself when I saw All Day Long MV shown on MTV and on top it something popped out saying Children of Empire is MTV's Artist of the Month of July! Now you'll get to see them Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday... Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Mazeltov!

The reason?

ZE:A, otherwise also known as Children of Empire, is a 9-member strong boy band from South Korea. The group slowly built up their fan base by appearing in various documentary-styled and reality shows titled “Star Empire” and “Empire Kids Returns.” On January 7, 2010, ZE:A finally unleashed their debut EP titled Nativity. and found instant chart success by topping both the album and artist charts on the release day. Within the span of three months, ZE:A continued their chart domination with their second EP, Leap For Detonation.

Congratulations to ZE:A! Or should I say Mazeltov? Its sorta weird huh? They've only released 2 MVs so far, Mazeltov & All Day Long. But I suspect its for promotion for the boys' Asian Tour coming up soon, ZE:A is said to also drop by Kuala Lumpur! What overachieving newbies! XD

ZE:A is also set for a comeback this July 8th with a brand new single titled "Level Up". Watch out for these kids on July 9th on Music Bank!

MTV World Stage welcomes Wonder Girls!

It's time for Malaysians to get aroused again with the hugely promoted concert, the MTV World Stage, Live in Malaysia 2010.

Date: 31 July 2010
Venue: Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach
Time: 6pm

I've been checking out the World Stage page everyday since I first heard the news of it, but apparently got lazy the last couple of days haha. Why?? Because I just knew a korean act was coming down to Malaysia to wave the Hallyu flag!

You can recall 2AM was present at last year's MTV World Stage Malaysia for the Backstage Party, and spent a glorius day afterwards shopping at KLCC right under everyone's noses lol. I thought it would be 2PM to be penciled in but its the Wonder Girls!

FT Island's MTV Artist of the Month May!

So I was just sitting at home wondering why Invincible Youth wasn't on and so I changed the channel to MTV to watch for the very first time 2AM's I Was Wrong MV (sorry bout that teehee). Well that's besides the point, so I was thinking oh! wait.. who's the Artist of the Month this May?? And who else do I see on the website widget that flicked onto the five treasured faces of F.T. ISLAND!!!

Hahahahahha I'm sorry I keep spazzing loads about them recently, well as MTV Asia sees it, it's the Five Treasures Month! On the fifth month of the Year, ironic? I have waited for them to get the recognition for 7 long months from the start of Big Bang holding the crown from the 1st Asian Takeaway Artist to represent KPOP. And yes I picked my kitty up immediately and started jumping around like an effing lunatic around the house at the sight of my babies. FT Island as MTVASIA's Asian Takeaway Artist of the Month of MAY! *sigh* I can die happy now.

BEAST MTV Artist of the Month April!

Is it a shock? shock! Everybody's shocked shock!

So these guys were just not satisfied with being TheAbracadabras front cover in the month of March, ey...? Adding to B2uty's delight of the Contest there's another reason to shout out "So BEAST!" as B2ST is MTV Asian Takeaway's Artist of the Month April!

Can you believe it?? Rookies already hitting the jackpot on Asian seas? Following in the footsteps of their sunbae-noonas 4Minute, they were featured before even before 2NE1! Let me tell ya after the win at M!Countdown I guess I shouldn't be suprised that these boys are catching up to be one of the front-runners to the huge k-pop boyband race.

Having only debuted late last year in October 2009 they haven't even reached a year of success yet! What I CAN warn you is get ready for a Asian Takeaway BEAST Marathon @ 6pm. What day? I have no idea, but what kind of marathon would that be anyways? They've only released 2 MV's Bad Girl & though I would be so psyched for some SHOCK! (watch it here)
