K-Pop Concerts Outside of Asia 2011!

Tired of watching K-Pop idols perform on tv and not in front of you? Sad because you don't live in South Korea and cannot meet your favorite stars? Well I've got something to cheer you up with!

This post is for all the K-pop lovers out there who don't necessarily live in an Asian country and have been missing out on the awesome showcases and concerts that K-pop stars are always having in countries such as China, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines and Japan.


This post can also be for the asian K-pop supporters who aren't living in Asia during this year. I hope you guys will be happy about the love some countries in North America, Europe and Oceania are having for South Korea's best! You can now look out for concerts near you this year. You might be suprised with who's on the list!

SEPTEMBER 2011

❤ 3rd - "CONCERT FOR JAPAN" Earthquake & Tsunami Relief in Toronto, CANADA

Watch out! FT Island is ready to rock Toronto! On the 3rd of September set as "Rock Day", as one of the 2-day benefit. Show your support for the unlucky happenings in Japan and to see FT Island perform there would be really fitting since FT Island has been extremely famous in their japanese promotions!

Wow, why couldn't FTI come to Canada when I was there?? T-T Toronto kids are really lucky *-*

KBS is officially organizing a FREE k-pop concert in (now moved to) New Jersey this October! K-pop artists have always had the pleasure of performing in the United States in scattered patterns, this seems to be one of the big gatherings of the Korean Wave. Now how to get these free tickets?

❤ 3rd-24th - The London Korean Film Festival 2011 in London, England

Where: Odeon West End, Leiceister Square
Who: SHINee (one appearance)

This is actually a 3-week festival for Korean films but the London organizers specifically invited SHINee to perform because of their fanbase in London. The boys also have performed in London at the infamous Abbey Road Studios where the Beatles had recorded. I found the Beatles graffiti wall, and guess what someone had the guts to write SHINee's name too!

❤ 6th – 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast, Northern Ireland

Shown on MTVASIA: Monday at 3am (WIB), 4am (SIN/HK/PH/MAL)

Who: BIGBANG

Hallyu Kings BIG BANG has been nominated for the “World Wide Act Asia Pacific” Award and will represent K-Pop. Fans can still VOTE for their favourite band in this and any other categories until October 23rd! So hurry VIPs and give BIG BANG your support!

❤ 6th - JYJ World Tour Concert 2011 in Berlin, Germany

This marks Jaejoong's, Yoochun's and Junsu's 2nd stop on their first world tour in Europe! In October, JYJ had performed in Spain. The boys will be performing in several main cities of Europe so heads up guys up north! This is forreals yalllzz. Luckyy..

Wow! I think this is the first trip K-Pop stars will ever make venturing into the terrain of South America! Props to a humble sized company like Cube to make this journey to some hard-core fans I know that live in South America.
